Lonza - Ibex
Life Sciences
Lonza is constructing Ibex: five state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities on a 100,000 m² greenfield site in Visp, Switzerland, representing an investment of over €1 billion.
One of the products developed at these sites is the Covid-19 Moderna vaccine.
Lonza appointed an EPC contractor for the utilities building (Project NSYNC), while FORZ provided a team of Owner Engineers to oversee progress, quality, and compliance throughout construction, commissioning, and handover.
FUJIFILM Diosynth Biotechnologies – Milky Way

FUJIFILM is investing nearly €1.5 billion to expand its cell culture facility in Hillerød, Denmark.
The expansion adds 8 x 20,000L bioreactors and two downstream processing lines, bringing the total capacity to 20 x 20,000L for drug manufacturing.
FUJIFILM selected an EPC contractor, and FORZ supports the project with a team of Owner Engineers overseeing engineering, construction, commissioning, and handover.
Nobian – Sustainability & Permits
Petrochemicals
Nobian aims to become one of the world’s most sustainable chemical companies. It signed a declaration of intent with the Dutch government to accelerate CO₂ reduction.
Key initiatives include electrification of salt and steam production in Delfzijl and Hengelo, and the fast-tracked replacement of electrolysis systems in Rotterdam. These projects are expected to save around 550 kton CO₂, 350 million m³ of natural gas, and 430 tons of NOx annually.
FORZ provides a team of permitting experts to help achieve Nobian’s sustainability goals and strengthen cooperation with the Dutch government.
Novo Nordisk Engineering Kalundborg

Novo Nordisk Engineering (NNE) is delivering one of Europe’s largest pharma facilities in Kalundborg, Denmark — a €4+ billion greenfield investment in advanced biologics manufacturing.
FORZ provides CQV and Multidisciplinary Engineers to support NNE in ensuring quality, compliance, and system readiness throughout commissioning and validation.
